Sue Shinn is the owner of three Legacy Academy Preschools located in Gwinnett and Forsyth County. Sue started her first school back in 2017 in Snellville, GA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Sue has held many roles in the Early Childhood Education field. She has taught Pre-K through Second Grade and has been a Director for a Head Start program in Wichita, Kansas.
With a proven record as a successful business owner, Sue opened her second school in Lawrenceville, GA in 2019, just fifteen minutes away from her original school. As a mother of three of her own children, Sue understands the importance of high-quality educational childcare. Sue’s goal at Legacy Academy is to ensure that every child feels at home in a loving, and safe environment. She is passionate about the critical role that her schools play in laying the foundation for every child’s future.
Sue’s third school, located in Cumming, GA, is in the construction process and is projected to open in 2024.
